I created this tiny company in June of 2013 with the hope of making people smile and enjoy life a little bit more. It’s easy to forget the joys we experienced as children or to ignore a hand-made item. I know, because I had and did. So, one day when it was too hot to venture outdoors, I pulled out my old, dusty sewing machine. I’d had it for years without ever considering using it, much less as a vehicle for making a living. But as I practiced, I remembered the hours and hours I would spend watching my mother quilt or my sister make dresses, and it clicked:
I’ve been surrounded by craftswomen since as long as I can remember and was raised with the motto: if the soul can create it, the hands can make it. This may seem like just another online boutique fueled by hobby fire. But it isn’t.
My store is an expression. The items you’ll find here come from thought, passion and effort.
Please enjoy shopping in the garden.
